Identification and Management of Psychosocial Risks in the Workplace

Psychosocial risks and work-related stress are among the biggest challenges in occupational health and safety. They have a major impact on the health of individuals, businesses and national economies. People suffering from anxiety are usually misunderstood or stigmatized, as with many other mental health issues. However, when psychosocial risks and stress are treated as an organizational issue rather than a personal weakness, they can be as manageable as any other workplace safety and health risk.

The training program “Identification and Management of Psychosocial Risks in the Workplace” aims at:

  • identifying the reasons that lead to poor management of working time and stress,
  • the recognition of the importance of effective management of working time and stress in the workplace and environment,
  • discern how important it is for the progress of a business, and for increasing productivity, the proper management of time and stress
  • taking appropriate and adequate preventive and protective measures, and
  • improving communication in the workplace
